personality.
1 ambitious 2 charming 3 witty 4 enthusiastic 5 athletic | 1 rebellious 2 impulsive 3 noncommittal 4 nosy 5 self-centered |
There isn't a cat in the Clan that doesn't know Appleblaze. An indignant troublemaker that is somehow always caught up in some sort of drama, Appleblaze is both a joy and a headache to have in the Clan. On one hand, he is ambitious and passionate, working toward his goals with a vigor that is otherwise hard to come by. He is friendly and often quite proactive, making sure to approach every cat in the Clan. Additionally, he will hold his friends very close to him, protecting them even if it means going above the warrior code.
On the other hand, his impulsive and self-centered attitude has gotten him into quite a lot of hot water. He is a cat who tends to argue for argument's sake, even if he feels like he cannot win. Stubborn and hot-headed, Appleblaze refuses to admit he is wrong. Furthermore, Appleblaze has a history of rebelling against authority. He hates it when other cats try to tell him what to do, whether that is his Clan leader wanting him to patrol or a infatuated partner wanting kits. This makes him a cat that appears rather self-centered, despite his growing popularity.
But what makes Appleblaze so popular then? Appleblaze certainly has his redeeming qualities. He is deceptively charming and witty, with words to sway the hearts of the youngest kits to the most senior elders. Often, he manages to talk his way out of the consequences of his actions, a trait that many cats roll their eyes at and find ridiculous. His fit and athletic build makes him a fun partner on hunts and adventures, since he hates losing and will always put up an entertaining competition.
Lastly, one of the biggest parts of Appleblaze's Clan life is his dramas. A promiscuous personality that rivals his own mother, he has gotten in a series of romantic relationships at his young age and botched most of them. He has just as many enemies as he does friends, but continues to make the same mistakes. Appleblaze hates commitment despite his often flamboyant displays of romance, and the truth of the matter is, after staying with the same mate for a while, he simply gets bored and moves on.

history.
Feathertail; mother ; deceased
Cherrykit ; sister ; deceased
Lemonheart ; brother ; adoptable
Stoneheart ; mentor ; played by shortee
00 moons Applekit, Cherrykit, and Lemonkit were born to the feisty queen, Feathertail. As for their father... who knew? Feathertail was known to be a popular and promiscuous she-cat. No one was surprised when she announced she was having kits, and no one was surprised that no tomcat stepped forward to claim them either.
That being said, Feathertail really did try her best to raise her kittens. Even during her time as a queen, she would romance tomcats and try to make them play the father figure. Applekit grew up knowing a lot of 'uncles' but no true father. From the start, he was a loud and playful kitten who needed a lot of stimulation. He got along great with his siblings. Both he and Lemonkit coddled their smaller, endearing sister Cherrykit.
04 moons Everything would change the day Applekit devised a plan to sneak out of the camp. He woke Cherrykit and Lemonkit at early dawn and told them the plan. The better-behaved and more reasonable Lemonkit refused to tag along.
Unfortunately, the forest was a big place. Cherrykit and Applekit quickly became lost. Not knowing the dangers outside the camp, Applekit had led them straight toward a fox burrow. Applekit did not remember much of what happened after that. The next memory he had was a lot of pain and being carried in the jaws of a warrior named Stoneheart. It was not until he woke up in the medicine cat's den and regained consciousness did he see Cherrykit's lifeless body being carried into the camp for vigil. His sister's death hit Applekit particularly hard. He felt incredibly guilty, and Feathertail's anger at him did not help either.
06 moons To be honest, Applekit was reluctant to become an apprentice. Since the incident and the death of Cherrykit, his once loud personality had taken a turn for the worse. He was abrasive, angry, and even more rash than before. Applepaw became even more indignant when Stoneheart was chosen as his mentor. Why would the Clan leader want to continue reminding him of Cherrykit's death?
This would signal the start of a difficult apprenticeship. Applepaw made it a point to disobey authority and slack off. Not long after the litter became apprentices, Feathertail died to a battle accident. The young Applepaw grieved all over again, but luckily this time, he had Stoneheart to talk to. Little by little, the calm and supportive Stoneheart rubbed off on Applepaw.
By the end of his apprenticeship, Applepaw had learned to respect his mentor and move past their first encounter. Perhaps finally, Applepaw had found a father figure to look up to. He had previously not admired any cat. Not his mother, and certainly not any of the many tom cats that swooned after her. But Stoneheart was a strong and admirable warrior, and Applepaw slowly let the grumpy mentor grow on him.
12 moons Applepaw was named Appleblaze at his warrior ceremony for his warm demeanor and brave heart. Upon becoming a warrior and having more free time, Appleblaze quickly took to flirting with all the she-cats. Some say he got his promiscuity from his mother, while others claim he is simply taking advantage of his natural charm. He seemed to have a different cat with him every night, somehow convincing them all that they were special.
As for his family, Appleblaze did not bother trying to find his father. He had grown ever closer to Stoneheart despite their differences, needing a rock and emotional support through all of his dramatic encounters. Meanwhile, as Appleblaze matured, he also grew closer to his brother Lemonheart. Appleblaze finally recognized that he had no other immediate kin in the Clan, and he would begin to protect the tamer and quieter Lemonheart as fiercely as he once protected Cherrykit.
